According to the situation announced by the Municipal Administration for Industry and Commerce, 749 cases of violating the "plastic restriction order" were investigated and dealt with in the past three years (including 535 cases of providing plastic shopping bags to consumers free of charge or in disguised form, 129 cases of selling plastic shopping bags that did not meet the relevant national standards, and 85 cases of not obtaining licenses and not establishing purchase and sale accounts according to regulations), with a case value of about 150,000 yuan, and 333,100 unqualified plastic bags were seized.
